Barbara Ryan founded Cherish Collages, a custom photo collage design business, in April of 2004. Turning the love of playing with pictures into a business. The idea developed after the birth of her first child in April of 2003 and the purchase of a digital camera. The abundance of baby photos spurred the photo collage idea and the hobby quickly evolved into a business idea.

In a previous life, Barbara worked for a travel company where the job description should have read, go to girl for all things design related. She quickly became the person everyone went to when they needed a flier or gift certificate designed.

It was a natural progression to take that love of design and make it personal – taking people’s photographs, which hold their cherished memories, and creating a unique piece of art for all to see through photo collages. This designing love continued into the digital scrapbooking realm and finding new ways to cherish all the memories. She began designing digital scrapbooking products in January 2008.

Barbara operates her digital design business from her home office. As a work-at-home mom, she plays with the kids and brings memories to life, all at the same time.
